Inside Justice / Fire
Following a fire that destroys a popular public recreation site, a married couple, Vehbi and Teuta Jonuzi, are accused of causing a danger to the public by failing to properly extinguish an open fire after the family had a barbecue.
The couple denies the charges. Their lawyer, Besnik Skaqiri, desperate to clear
their name, asserts that his clients are innocent of the crime and that a witness -- the
forest guard – would testify that they could not possibly be at fault for the danger and
damages.The public prosecutor struggles for evidence to support the charges, until an unexpected
witness testimony tips the scale of justice in the favor of the prosecution… with dire
consequences for the family Jonuzi.
