Inside Justice / Flood
In a field near a village, a burst of water erupts from pipes rigged by a farmer, Jetmir Salihu, and his son Musa, who were trying to increase the water supply to their field. Knowing the potential catastrophe they have caused, Jetmir and Musa try to stop the flood but fail. The leave the scene, but not before the suspicious circumstances are noticed.
Following the incident, the Water Company inspects the damage and concludes that
someone was stealing water. In court, the prosecutor, Merita Dervishi, accuses Jetmir
Salihu of damaging the water supply in order to irrigate his land based on evidence
of his wrong-doing. Jetmir is accused of wasting precious water, including water for
neighboring farms and the drinking water for the entire village. He denies the charges.
Several witness testify on his behalf. The prosecutor struggles to make her case until
one witness is revealed to have the motive to lie…
