Inside Justice / Nobady's Land
A woman, Zamira Menturi, finds that the entrance to her land has been blocked by construction on the home of her neighbour, Arsim Kelmendi. Arsim is constructing a wall blocking the driveway leading to Zamira’s home.
Though Zamira does not have evidence
of ownership of her land, or the driveway, she claims that there was an agreement
between her father in law and Arsim’s father allowing the use the driveway to access the
road at the time of the sale of the property to her father. The neighbours do not have a
written contract regarding the use of the driveway. The families have lived peacefully
together for generations in the past, but the past doesn’t seem to be of help to Zamira
now.Alone in her dispute against Arsim, Zamira turns to the court to resolve her dispute…
