Doruntina Basha(Writer)

Doruntina Basha was born in 1981 in Pristina. She studied dramaturgy in Pristina (2000 – 2004), and obtained a masters degree on humanities from the University of St. Andrews, Università degli studi di Bergamo and Université de Perpignan Via Domitia (2006 – 2008).

Doruntina got involved in drama writing and script writing since she was a student of dramaturgy, and until now she has published three plays (some have been translated into English, French and Serbian), and she also had several plays staged in Pristina, and one in Skopje. Doruntina has been involved in several TV productions, including most recently ‘Inside Justice’. She has also worked in few film festivals in Kosovo as a film selector and artistic director.
